MAGIC MUSHROOM CHOCOLATE :
The Aztecs already appreciated “xocolatl” (chocolate) and its energizing effect, thanks to the stimulating compound theobromine, which literally means “food of the gods”. With our magic mushroom chocolate recipe, you can turn your shrooms into a divine and energizing snack!
- Dried magic mushrooms or truffles
- Several commercial chocolate bars (preferably dark)
- large saucepan
- glass bowl
- sharp knife
- Chocolate molds (if not, non-stick baking sheet)
Make sure your mushrooms or truffles are well dried.
Using a sharp knife, cut your mushrooms into small pieces.
Break your chocolate into small pieces and add them to the glass bowl.
Put the glass bowl with the chocolate in a saucepan with water.
Place the saucepan and bowl on the plate and bring the water to a boil. Stir the chocolate as it melts.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the melted chocolate to cool for a few minutes.
Add your finely cut mushrooms to the liquid chocolate.
Stir to evenly distribute the mushrooms.
Pour the chocolate/mushroom mixture into the moulds.
Put the chocolate in the refrigerator to cool.
If you want to store your shroom chocolates, wrap them in aluminum foil. You can keep them almost indefinitely in a cool, dark place.
